How this site earns money, in plain English — because you can't judge our advice without knowing who pays for it.
The commercial model
Payline Harbour is funded by affiliate commissions. When you click a link from this site to an online casino and later open an account there, the operator may pay us a fee. That is the site's income — we charge readers nothing, sell no subscriptions and carry no display advertising.
Commission arrangements are between us and each operator, and they never change what you pay: deposits, odds, game prices and payouts are identical whether you arrive via our link or type the casino's address yourself.
What commission does — and doesn't — influence
Honesty requires two admissions rather than one:
- It can influence who appears. Like any affiliate publisher, we are likelier to feature operators with whom a commercial relationship exists or is possible. Our shortlist is not a census of the whole market.
- It does not influence what we say. Grades, criticism and praise are decided by the reviews desk against the criteria on our How we rate page. No operator sees copy before publication, and none can pay to change a verdict. If a casino on this page has a weakness, it's printed next to its strengths.
How to spot a commercial link
Links that lead to casino websites — the "Visit" buttons on the comparison and any operator link in editorial copy — are commercial links. They are marked for search engines as sponsored, and every casino listing carries a disclosure alongside it. Links to safety organisations, the regulator and our own pages earn us nothing.
Your relationship is with the operator
Once you leave this site, everything that follows — registration, identity checks, deposits, play, withdrawals, promotions — happens on the operator's platform under the operator's terms and privacy policy. We are not a party to that relationship and cannot intervene in it. Read an operator's terms before depositing, particularly around bonuses and withdrawal conditions.
