About Payline Harbour
An independent reviews desk for people who want a straight answer to one question: which licensed online casino is actually worth my time?
What we do
Payline Harbour compares online casinos that hold a current operating licence from the Gambling Commission for customers in Great Britain. We check each brand's licence on the official public register, examine what the casino offers — games, live tables, mobile experience, player-protection tools — and publish a letter grade with a written verdict explaining it.
The comparison is deliberately small. Rather than listing every casino on the market, we keep a shortlist we can actually keep an eye on, and we print the legal licensee and licence account number for each one so you can verify our facts yourself before you deposit anything.
What we don't do
- We are not a casino. You cannot place a bet, open a gambling account or deposit money anywhere on this website.
- We don't hold customer funds, process gambling payments or handle disputes between you and an operator — if something goes wrong at a casino, its own support and complaints process is the correct route.
- We don't sell grades. No operator can pay for a better verdict, and none has editorial input into what we write.
- We are not connected to the Gambling Commission, GAMSTOP, GamCare or GambleAware, and nothing on this site implies their endorsement.
How the site is funded
Payline Harbour is affiliate-funded. When you visit a casino through one of our links and open an account, the operator may pay us a commission. That commission never changes what you pay, and it never changes a grade — though, as with any affiliate site, commercial relationships can influence which operators we choose to feature. We spell this out in full in our affiliate disclosure.
Our editorial standards
Every factual claim we publish — licensee names, licence numbers, product details — is checked against an authoritative source, and anything we can't verify stays out. Where we express an opinion, we label it as ours. The complete approach, including how grades are built and how we handle mistakes, is set out in our editorial policy and on the How we rate page.
A word on the name. A payline is the line across a slot machine's reels where matching symbols pay out; a harbour is where you go for safe anchorage. Payline Harbour aims to be exactly that — a calm, well-lit place to weigh up licensed casinos before you set out.
